Why would most people spend their time, or should I say waste their precious time just to struggle, day by day to try and make money online? Why would most people spend hours on end, which they rather could have spent with family and friends believing they can earn money online?

These are basic simple questions and the answer to this might surprise most people… You see most people are dreamers, dreaming of big houses and beautiful cars, most people are like me - just to proud to believe that we are not capable of making money online!!! Or should I say most people believe too much in what they are being force fed rather than believing in themselves and their capabilities!

You see I am not “most people”, I am myself, but I did unfortunately think it was easy to make money online, like most people do - and you would be right, it is easy - if you know what to do! So today I am going to discuss a simple fact of marketing and making money online… Hope you are ready because today we are going to kill some myths and destroy some reputations!

I have a lot on my mind but for now I will keep it under wraps till the time is right - which currently it is not - but focusing today is discipline to create multiple income streams and how to focus to achieve each goal!

You need to bear with me as I sometimes get lost in stats and calculations, but that is how I achieve results! So WE are going to focus but I am going to give you proof of certain techniques and how to test!

So let’s see what kinds of income streams we can generate first?

• Google Adsense - You make money by placing Google ads on your website (details in a minute)
• Affiliate Marketing - You make money by promoting other peoples products….
• Digital Product Creation - You create a digital product and sell it….
• Physical Product Creation - You create a physical product and sell it…
• Service or training products - You supply a physical service or physical training [NOT PT - like fitness ]

So let us start with Google Adsense - You create a website or blog that focus on supplying your visitor with useful content driven information, so let us say you are someone interested in Radio Control Cars or planes, you create a website explained certain tips and techniques that visitors to your website can use to improve laps times with their RC car, now after you created a website or a blog page you set up a Google Adsense account, then get the code from

Google and insert it into your website or blog page, now every time a visitor is reading your information page they see ads related to your service or information…

So basically what you did is you supplied your visitors with valuable information, then you added additional value by placing ads on your site that links to similar products and services and it cost you nothing neither did it cost your visitor anything… And you created your first income stream, Google now pays you every time someone clicks on one of the ads shown on your website or blog!

This is the most basics of creating an income stream using Google Adsense but it certainly is not the only way of making money online…

So onto Affiliate Marketing we move

What exactly is “affiliate marketing”? It basically boils down to this, someone else have great product, you wish it was your product, you end up selling their product and they end up paying you some money because they are grateful that you(via your visitor) gave them cash that they did not need to work for… You follow? You see basically it comes down to the fact that you promote other products via your website!

So is affiliate marketing worth the time and effort, and how do you go about doing it successfully?

1. Is affiliate marketing worth your time? - My answer is a definite “YES” IF YOU DO IT RIGHT! You see you can have a website with tons of affiliate links - According to me the wrong way of doing it!!!! OR you can have a website that describes the advantages and disadvantages of the affiliate product that you are promoting with some useful tips and techniques from your side on how to use the product or what the main advantages of owning the product contains! So basically you buy and review the product and if you have time add some value for your customers to the specific product in the form of a training guide or something similar… This according to me is the right way of doing affiliate marketing!
2. So how to do it really successfully, you need to remember that you can either promote physical products or digital products, and it is your choice which field you want to go into… The advantages is great for both since you don’t need to worry about shipping handling or customer care, and with both the rewards are well worth your time since you only receive commissions on the sales you make, if you want to make more sales, rather than just reviewing the product, I would suggest you add some value to it…

For instance say it is a digital software product I would suggest you create a nice training guide - video or pdf - if it is a digital information product I would suggest you “fill in the blanks” meaning if the product did not explain certain terms “eg What is a Squidoo lens?” in detail then you add a guide on all the terms just so everybody that buys the product via your affiliate link finds more value to the product!!!

If it is a physical product I would suggest you check your markup or profit and see if you can send your client something that ads value to the product… Take this example, I have a photography website that promotes digital cameras, and though the percentage of profit is low, the price is high, so I make a reasonable profit per sale, but I add value in the form of sending my client a additional tripod because they bought from me… You see the tripod is so cheap but it adds value to the product!!! So you need to decide do you want more sales and lose a bit of profit on supplementing your affiliate product or do you want to lose the sale to another affiliate marketer! You need to be one step ahead of your competition to be competitive!

Now this was a lot to process and again focus on one thing at a time and get it to work before moving on, if you quit once you will quit again and later it will become a habit, and you will end up losing!

Now we move on to real shaky ground, OWN PRODUCT CREATION!

Here you need to factor in a lot of information, creating your own product is usually very profitable if you do it right, but you need to be willing to do customer support, product improvements, product shipping if required, and all the hassles that comes with having your own product, BUT most of these can be outsourced if you know where to look and who to trust… So after some time being in a certain market you will realize that basically you know enough to create your own product! And if you persevere, did your research and made sure your market wants your product you will be successfull!

You see you already have a customer base - that is if you started of being an affiliate marketer - so now you just roll out your product to your existing clients!!!

I would have to say that if you are thinking about this field you need to make sure you check and recheck everything, the market is competitive and shipping, handling and insurance can and will cost you a fortune! But if you have a product that you believe you can create and have a market for then by all means go for it, but marketing it on the net I can assist you with, just follow the techniques above, for marketing off line I would suggest you visit the website of either Russel Brunson as he does make use of off line marketing techniques or some other marketer that you might know off… This part is a bit out of my jurisdiction unfortunately!!!!

Finally supplying a service - if you are an expert and you are still working for a boss(for minimum wage), I would suggest you setup a website ASAP and start promoting yourself , but please don’t quit your job before you don’t have a comparative income from your online business yet… There are huge sources available to promoting yourself, whether you are a speaker, copywriter, programmer, graphics designer or have some other kind of skill…

So this is it from me for today, sometimes it is not what you do, but how you do it, and sometimes it is just “whether” you do it that counts! Remember positive non-quitting attitude and any market that has customers can be yours…
